The value of treatment was a common theme at IowaWatch.org forums on dealing with meth addiction in Iowa. So was prevention programming.
The forums, open to the public, are to take place on Nov. 19, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Register Media’s Community Room in Des Moines and on Nov. 20, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Iowa City Public Library Meeting Room A in Iowa City.
Several organizations working together can fight the spread of methamphetamine use and create hope for those addicted to the drug, speakers said at a forum that IowaWatch helped co-host on July 1.
