Schools chief asked for more time in Cedar Falls

The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports on the days leading up to Cedar Falls Schools Superintendent Mike Wells' Feb. 27 resignation. The resignation came after an eight month tenure and the cause is still unclear. This is the first part of a series investigating emails exchanged between Wells and school board members dating back to Nov. 1, as well as correspondence regarding Wells’ performance leading up to his resignation.
